- The Lonar lake is the only crater lake in the country.

- A Debt Pact of G20 is signed to help poor countries hit by COVID-19.
- They agreed on a common framework to restructure government debts.

- Tristan da Cunha becomes the largest Marine Protection Zone of the Atlantic Ocean.
- This will prohibit sand extraction, bottom trawling fishing, and deep-sea mining in more than 90% of waters of the territory.
Khelo India
NEWS :
- The government of India is to incentivize 500 private academies under the Khelo India scheme.
- Private academies are to be graded into different categories based on the quality of achievement of the players.
- In the first phase, monetary assistance is to be provided to 14 Olympic sports disciplines.
- The incentivization is being introduced mainly to support institutions that are in remote areas of the country.

- The statue is being unveiled to mark the 151st birth anniversary of Jain Acharya Shree Vijay Vallabh Surishwer Ji Maharaj.
- The statue is made of Ashtadhatu.
- Ashtadhatu is an octo-alloy.
- The alloy is mainly used in casting metallic idols in Hindu and Jain temples.
- The alloy is made of metals such as gold, copper, silver, tin, zinc, iron, tin, and antimony (or mercury).
- The metals are mixed in equal proportions to create the idol.
- Shri Vijay Vallabh Surishwer Ji Maharaj
- He was the founder of Shri Parshwanath Jain Vidyalaya in the Pali district of Rajasthan.
- He supported the non-violent independent movements of Mahatma Gandhiji.

- The state of Jharkhand was created on his birth anniversary.
- Birsa Munda was a tribal freedom fighter who hailed from the Munda tribe.

• The sex ratio of Jammu and Kashmir was at 952, Delhi at 929, and Haryana at 914.
• According to the report, the registration of births has increased to 89.3% as compared to 81.3% in 2009.
