Context:

• India is acquiring the Camcopter S-100 Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) from Austrian company Schiebel to strengthen its naval capabilities.
• This move enhances India’s Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR).

Features of Camcopter S-100:
