Bihar’s Agriculture Minister has urged the Central Government to declare a Minimum Support Price (MSP) for makhana, an aquatic crop extensively cultivated in Bihar.

Bihar contributes 85% of the country’s makhana production, involving around 10 lakh people, primarily from economically weaker backgrounds.
